On Friday, May 19, the passenger ship Vesta, which supports the connection on the Tallinn-Aegna line, opened the navigation. Vesta starts journey from the Fish Harbor, and the way to the island takes about an hour.
Tickets can be bought in advance no less than two hours before departure, or on the spot, starting from 30 minutes before the departure of the ship. The ship can take up to 47 passengers on board.
Tallinn citizens have the right to travel free, but it is possible only on a first-come, first-served basis with producing personalized green card and ID card.
Two seats are booked for the residents of the island for each sailing. The reservation is canceled a quarter of an hour before sailing.
Till 4th of June, the ship will work only from Friday to Sunday (inclusive), carrying out two sailings round-trip a day. Since 5th of June, the ship will work 6 days a week (except Tuesday), making three trips a day on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and two trips a day on Wednesday and Thursday.
