International exercises will be held from Friday to Sunday on the coast of Tallinn, where the law enforcement agencies will work out cooperation on the defense of ports.
In addition to the Tallinn, Harju and Rapla squads of Kaitseliit, Estonian Air Force also will take part in exercise. As well as the Police and Border Guard Department with auxiliary policemen, the National Guard of Maryland from the United States, the ships of the local defense forces of Denmark, the members of the local defense organization of Lithuania KASP, the local defense organization of Latvia Zemerssadze and volunteer reservists from Finland.
The exercises will take place at the Tallinn Naval Base, on Naissaar Island and Pakri Peninsula. The participants will work strengthened protection of the facilities of the Defense Forces and Kaitseliit, maritime monitoring, warning of units of the Defense Forces and the Kaitseliit, the operations protection in the area of responsibility, as well as operations to protect NATO warships on the southern coast of the Gulf of Finland.
