Kesklinn summer festival: "Vegetarian Grill" and the Tallinn Ball of Flowers

On Thursday, 22th of June, the Kesklinn summer holiday will be held, the program of which includes the "Vegetarian Grill" competition, as well as the popular making flower dresses competition - "Tallinn Ball of Flowers" and, undoubtedly, the performance of the legendary group 2 Quick Start.

The Kesklinn administration is inviting all who wish to celebrate the coming of summer together, in the very center of the capital, on the square near City Hall, on 22th of June. The beginning of the event is at 13:00. The first half of the day is devoted to the "Vegetarian Grill" competition. The Tallinn Flowers Ball will please the townspeople with beautiful dresses from 17:00. The concert of group 2 Quick Start will finish the evening.

"Kesklinn district celebrated Ivanov (Kupala) day and the beginning of summer together with the residents of our capital for many years. This year we decided to update the format of our summer event a little and joined forces with the Estonian Grill-Union and the Tallinn Flowers Ball," - commented Taavi Pukk, the elder of Kesklinn district.

The event will be held in cooperation with the Estonian Grill Union and the Tallinn Ball of Flowers.

"The grill has already become an integral part of our summer. This time, we will learn how to properly cook grilled vegetables under the guidance of the masters of their craft. I remind you that this kind of competition will be held in Estonia for the first time! Fans of meat and barbecue should not worry, because we invited the masters of cooking meat dishes. Also it will be possible to buy traditional meat dishes from them, - said Taavi Pukk. - The international competition of florists "Tallinn Ball of Flowers" will adorn the holiday, which simply can not be left without attention".

"Undoubtedly, no holiday can do without good music. That's why this night the legendary band 2 Quick Start will perform for you! Enjoying the summer concert of this group has already become a tradition, and it would be wrong not to take advantage of this opportunity," - added Pukk.

The summer holiday of the Kesklinn district will be held on 22th of June from 13:00 to 22:00 on the square near the City Hall. Children's play area awaits all little residents from 13:00 to 17:00. The winners of the "Vegetarian Grill 2017" competition and the most beautiful floral dresses will receive awards at approximately 19:00. The concert of group 2 Quick Start will begin at 20:30.
