Nordecon to build office building in the LvivTech.City innovation park

Eurocon Ukraine TOV, Ukrainian subsidiary of the listed Estonian construction group Nordecon AS, has signed an agreement with Lviv Standartbud Limited Liability Company under which Nordecon will build a six-story office building in the LvivTech.City innovation park in the city of Lviv, informs LETA/BNS.

The contract value is approximately 8.1 million euros inclusive of VAT and the construction will be completed in September 2018,Nordecontold the stock exchange - writes baltic-course.com.

"Lviv is a big city - the biggest in western Ukraine. It is home to the oldest university of Ukraine and has a high concentration of young innovative people. The aim of the innovation city LvivTech.City is to bring together know-how intensive businesses of international scope, to whom a functioning and modern campus will be offered featuring both modern office spaces and convenient leisure amenities,"NordeconAS board memberPriit Lumansaid in apress release.

Nordeconis also building an office building for the same developer's Unit City technology park in the Ukrainian capitalKiev.

The office building in LvivTech.City will have 17,800 square meters of floor space on six levels and it will be built to meet the LEED Gold high energy efficiency and environmental standards, Luman added.

Nordeconis a group of construction companies the core business of which is construction project management and general contracting in the buildings and infrastructures segment. The group operates in Estonia, Ukraine, Finland and Sweden. The consolidated revenue of the group in 2016 was 183 million euros and the group currently employs close to 740 people. Shares of Nordeconare quoted in the main list of the NASDAQ Tallinn Stock Exchange.
