According to the North rescue center, the number of people injured when a passenger train and truck collided at the Kulna railway crossing near the town ofKeila in Harju County on Tuesday morning has grown to nine.

The accident took place at 8:30 a.m. at the Kulna railway crossing in the rural municipality of Keila when an Elron passenger train and a truck collided and two of the train's carriages derailed - writes postimees.ee
"According to current information, the ambulance took nine people to the hospital -- the truck driver, the train driver, the train attendant and six passengers who were on the train,"the North rescue center said at 10:30 a.m.
The train was a passenger train on the way from Riisipere to Tallinn. There are buses at the scene for transporting passengers. Traffic is disrupted at the scene. Rescuers have concluded active rescue work and the incident is now being handled by the police.
