"VKontakte", “Doctor Web” and "Yandex" will be banned in Ukraine

The decree of the Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko provided on April 28, "About the personal use of the special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions)."



According to the signed document restrictive sanctions introduced which forbid Internet providers to Ukraine to provide network users with Internet access to the following resources:

"Mail.ru" (www.mail.ru)

"Vkontakte" (www.vk.com)

"Classmates" (www.ok.ru)

Also introduced sanctions against Ltd. "Yandex" (Moscow) and "Yandex.Ukraine" Russian companies-developers of antivirus "Kaspersky Lab" and "Doctor Web".

This is stated in the application of legal persons to apply or continue to apply sanctions published on the official website of the President of Ukraine.

There was the Head of State published on May 15 at a decree that introduced a National Security Council decision of 28 April 2017 "About special economic use of personal and other restrictive measures (sanctions)".
