Tomorrow, on 31th of May, the 36th Old City Days officially start with the concert at 20:00 at the Town Hall Square of Tallinn.
"It will be very rich and high-quality program, - said the elder of Kesklinn Taavi Pukk, - it will inevitably attract a lot of guests - both from Tallinn itself and Estonia. Especially, the youth will have something to see, to listen to and to do, because the theme of the Days this time is "The Young Old Town".
In particular, this referes to speakers, among which there will be many students from schools located in Old City. The program also includes various youth projects, youth forum, and fair of student companies. But you can see many well-known names on the posters. The introductory concert will be conducted by Tyna Kalyuste. But even before the concert, at 11:00, it will be possible to listen to the music of Vivaldi and Arvo Pärt at the Town Hall Square, in Yaanovskaya church. Then there will be concerts in the concert hall "Estonia" (at 13:00), at the Hopner House (at 16:0)) and in the Gustav Adolphe gymnasium (at 18.30). In total, the program, which is designed to last till 4th of June, includes more than 400 concerts, exhibitions, performances, excursions, etc.
