Within three months, the Lasnamae Board collected ideas from the residents of the district within the "Positive Tallinn" project. We received over one and a half thousand proposals in three months. There was no a single desire to build a tram at Laagna tee among the ideas for the development of the district.
People were not limited in their wishes, so the proposals were the most bold and fantastic. From construction of a racetrack, fountains to the Lennart Meri Museum.
Lasnamae residents like the project of extension of tram line number 4 much more, which will allow to reach the airport by tram. This project will be implemented in the coming months. Bus links along the ditch is sufficient, so it is not surprising that the question of building a tram is primarily a question of feasibility. It is out of concern for feasibility of the current realities and come from the city authorities. All the rest is fantasy and populism of political opponents.
