Harbor Noblessner can not be turned into a dormitory suburb, where people come only in the evening. But it is also impossible to turn it into a mono-functional business center, in which all lights are off at five p.m. and all action stops.
Particular attention is expected to be given to the design of the space between the houses. All the streets between the houses are meant exclusively for pedestrians. Automobile traffic at the entrance to the territory will be immediately sent to underground, so that the ground part belongs totally to pedestrians, explains the architect. There will be landscaping in the streets, benches and fountains. Privacy for residents will be provided with yards between buildings, hidden from stranger eyes and from the wind.
