The commission, which evaluates the proposals received from the apartment associations within the "Green Yard" project, decided to grant 86 of the 145 submitted motions for the amount of 40 000 euros.
Vice-mayor of Tallinn Echo Võrk noted that this year there were many proposals related to security in the yard areas: from cutting dried branches to creating green fences to protect from noise and exhaust gases.
The competition was at this time the largest in the history of the project, it was decided to support only about 60% of applications. The maximum subsidy is 600 euros per apartment association and can not exceed 60% of the total cost of the planed.
It is paid after the implementation of what was planned and inspection done by the commission. Also after the expense report with the relevant annexes to the City Property Department, no later than 10th of September.
The project was launched in 2013, and subsidies totaling almost 160,000 euros received 364 apartment partnerships.
