During the Days of the Middle Ages, the Tallinn Old Town is full of the spirit of the magnificent Hanseatic era. Medieval market is set up at the Town Hall Square: here you will find merchants and various workshops. Local and visitant musicians and dancers will perform.
The festival invites guests to make a fascinating journey to the ancient, five hundred years old, Revel. At the Town Hall Square, in the very center of the Old Town, the medieval market of traders and craftsmen of the heyday of the Hanseatic League will be revived.
Masters, learners and apprentices will show their art on the site near St. Nicholas church (Niguliste). School of knights and archery competitions will be organized for children. Townspeople will be entertained by roving actors and minstrels, and the sages will share their knowledge. The Town Hall will host an annual medieval carnival.
July 6, at 16.30 - tour of the Maiden Tower, Kik in de Kok and the defensive passage "Medieval fortification and city life". The cost is 7/4.50 euros.
July 8, at 15.00 - fascinating program "Medieval festivals and feasts" with tasting dishes prepared on the basis of old recipes. The cost is 7 euros.
