Free screening in Lindakivi: "Green Cats"

Within the new project "KinoClub", on Friday, January 26, at 13:00, in the center of culture "Lindakivi", the board of Lasnamäe organizes a free movie session for the elderly, the district administration reported. According to elder of Lasnamäe Maria Jufereva, the new film project will be another gift, dated to the century of the Republic of Estonia, to the people of the district.

"The goal of our project “KinoClub” is to introduce the elderly residents to the famous works of Estonian and foreign cinema and expand their social circle. For the first screening, the new work of the Estonian director Andres Puustusmaa was selected, which participated in the Estonian film competition of PÖFF festival", - Maria Jufereva, elder of Lasnamäe, said.

"Green Cats" is a film-parable, the work of the Estonian director Andres Puustusmaa, which the audience will be able to appreciate already this Friday. The story of two men Marcus (Kark) and Eduard (Makovetsky), who spent most of their lives in prison and finally were released, faced a completely unusual reality. Humor, comical situations and at the same time a slight sadness and nostalgia for the past years - the leitmotif of the movie "Green Cats".

The film will be shown in Russian with Estonian subtitles.
