In the framework of the charity project "Doing good" for low-income families with children and lone retirees from Lasnamäe, first aid kits were collected for home use. Such help will take care of the health of children, whose families are in a difficult situation, said Lasnamäe administration.
"30 home medicine kits, collected as part of a joint campaign by the charitable foundation "Dharma" and the pharmacy "Benu", will be distributed among low-income large families and single pensioners from Lasnamäe," - explained Maria Yufereva, the elder of the Lasnamäe district.
In the framework of the joint campaign of the charitable foundation "Dharma" and the pharmacy "Benu", pharmacy products donated by people were packed into 360 first-aid kits for home use. The cost of each was about 50 euros. According to Jüri Tamm, a member of the board of the Dharma Foundation, the contribution of benefactors is invaluable. "Our people work daily with families who do not have the opportunity to buy even the simplest medications for cold. The smallest donation is indispensable for such families and, perhaps, will give health to the child, - Tamm said, - our people together with our good partners guarantee that all donations made by pharmacy visitors will be delivered to needy children in 12 different regions of Estonia," - Tamm said.
